About Bargate Homes and Vivid

Bargate Homes was established in 2006 to be a truly differentiated homebuilder in its product and guiding principles. In 2019 we became a subsidiary of VIVID, one of the largest housing associations in the country, we are passionate about the design of our developments and homes. Our house types differ site by site, looking to reflect the local area, with further differentiating finishes of brick, render and hung tiles, set in landscaped spaces with areas to relax and play. We share a sense of duty to give back to the communities in which we develop and genuinely leave a positive legacy for future generations.

VIVID are a housing association and Hampshire’s largest provider of affordable homes. VIVID manages 30,000 homes with 70,000 customers throughout Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire and are a not-for-profit organisation. In 2019 Vivid won the Housing Association of the Year award at the national What House? awards for making a real positive difference to people’s lives. Once the homes have been built by Bargate, Vivid will take over the running of the affordable homes.
